We loved the rustic location, the down to earth reception and the uncomplicated dealings with all of the friendly and warm staff. There was fresh air on the edge of the mountains, the window in the room opened and there was a great restaurant walking distance from the lodge. The AC/heater in the room was quiet, also a plus. We left something behind and the follow-up from the staff was superb. They found our lost item and offered to mail it to us in a timely fashion. We will stay again in the future.

Stayed in a couple different rooms throughout my stay and each room was nicely sized with a comfortable bed and a nice gas heater. May seem like no big deal, but the refrigerator and microwave worked exceptionally well in the rooms I stayed in as well. For someone that travels a lot for work the smaller things like this go a long way.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable, ac worked great. Location was convenient.

We were traveling from Boston to Derby Line VT and stayed to break up the trip. It was such a pleasant surprise. The area is so quaint and rustic. The Lodge is exactly like the pictures on booking.com and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. It was a peaceful location with a wonderful café right across the street.

Location was great. Check in was smooth, staff very friendly, our room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable and everything was in good working order.

The features and cleanliness were a pleasant surprise in this older but updated log cabin sided motel. I liked the free coffee in the office in the morning. Convenient to all the stores we needed.

Place was great. great little piece of heaven very relaxing the desk lady I believe her name was Jen was awesome very helpful an made sure I got everything I needed while I was there top notch 😉 lot of cool sites to see n good food to definitely will be back had a blast literally

Nootka Lodge is a happy throwback to an earlier age when staying at a motel was a personal experience. We were welcomed by staff who were genuinely glad to see us. The room was spacious and comfortable - dated, but in a very good way. Conveniently located and fully appointed without pretense, Nootka Lodge was a find!

Breakfast at the classic “cabin-style” cafe across the street was very nice. My room was comfortable, on a bluff overlooking a pleasant river, and had a fun backwoods decor. Great to get local TV with weather and news. AND old movies!
